Process to Re-Ink Stamps
Pre-Inked and Self-Inking
Effective 2003 all self-inking stamps use a new technology and must use Ideal Stamp Ink
If Customer has an old stamp (with red round handle) and needs re-inking fluid:
- Order a new stamp, old inking fluid is no longer available
If customer has old stamp (with red round handle) and still has old ink:
- Unlock ink tray by sliding red tab on the side of the stamp
- Pull back handle in the back to remove the ink tray
- Drop ink into the two holes in the tray
If customer has the new style stamp (ordered 2003 or later) to re-ink do the following:
- Press top down slightly and pull out stamp pad until the ink chambers are revealed
- Squeeze 10 drops of re-inking fluid into each of the two ink chambers
- Wait 15 minutes, then add another 10 drops into each chamber
- Press top down slightly and push stamp pad back into usable position
